Beauty is subjective. We all know this. But I'm interested in plunging neck deep into what it means for as many people that are willing to share. I would love for you to email me any video/audio/general comments/personal experiences on beauty. Everything is welcome, and anything that you post here will be somehow incorporated in our show!

The Show: Do You Want To See Something Beautiful?

Tumbling out of Drama School, Ingrid Taylor-Moss was determined to discover, like, what even is being beautiful?
To be beautiful, we must pluck, wax, lather, smoother, dress, impress, repress? What for? And, why do we even care? What happens to our dignity? It that ugliness? Does holding it in such high esteem skewer our morals? How much time and money do we have to spend altering who we are? So she is asking her conspirators, friends... anyone, and (that failing) the internet for their personal experiences. This isn't just an intellectual pursuit. Beauty leaks into our deepest emotional needs of wanting to be wanted. With a mixture of delivering the truth and taking the piss, she will be joined by the most talented people she knows. Part live theatre, part recording and projection, we will show you more than just our pretty faces. |
